What Is This Newsletter For?
An Explanation of MMH
Wow. I think for years I’ve wanted to have something like this.
A place where I can share the things that I’ve learned and am currently learning to people that ACTUALLY want to listen. I’m amazed at how many people are interested in what I have to say and signed up for this already, so for that I thank you from the bottom of my heart. I will do my best to provide as much value to you as I can!
This newsletter is similar to a lot of conversations I have on the phone or in person with many of YOU. Talking about excerpts from books, interesting insights from podcasts, mindset shifting points from YouTube videos, and sometimes just things that happen to me in real life that I feel like everyone can learn from. And because of the nature of my work, I see everything through the lens of the Music Creator.
I read about 40 to 50 books a year, listen to multiple podcasts across many industries every day on my walks and drives, and interview incredible people in different aspects of the music industry with my co-host Josh on our podcast the Home Studio Hangout. Not only that, but I’m also constantly having great one-on-one conversations with people in sessions and just grabbing coffee. The goal of this newsletter is to take ALL of that information and present the best parts to you so that you don’t have to do all that extra work.
I’m hoping this newsletter will be a source of knowledge and help for those of you looking for it. I also hope that I can provide tactical advice as a fellow music maker, whether you are a songwriter, producer, mixing engineer, or band/artist to help you think differently when approaching your projects!
This is very much an introduction to the newsletter just so I can give a clear idea to everyone what to expect! So just for clarity’s sake here’s a list of what you can expect:
Bi-Weekly Email Newsletter (Every Other Week)
Distilling Information from Podcasts, Books, and Youtube Videos (with links in case you’d like to check it out yourself!)
Any interesting songwriting, production, or mixing tips that I think are worthwhile!
Keeping you up to date on long form content I post
Occasional giveaways or FREE Sample Packs/Presets for easier songwriting and music creation
NO EMAIL BOMBARDMENT OR ABUSE OF THE EMAIL LIST! (I promise)
SO WHAT CAN YOU DO NOW?
The biggest thing you can do to help me out with this is share this with someone you think would find this helpful or interesting. I really wanna help as many people as I can with this grow or find new ideas that can push them past some sort of block that they are dealing with!

ALSO
the best way I can help YOU answer YOUR specific questions is knowing about them, so please feel free to REPLY to this newsletter with any questions you have and I will do my best to answer or find an answer for it!
I would love to have a segment of the newsletter dedicated to answering questions and helping everyone learn from the answers!
Lastly I’ll leave you with a thought on Art from Seth Godin, who I can guarantee will come up a lot in this newsletter (guys a genius):
“Painting is something you do to a House. Art is the work we do where there is no right answer, and yet the journey is worth the effort.”
Enjoy The Journey,
Keep On Creating
