We are officially into month SIX of 2026 and it has been on my to-do list since last year to figure out what to do with this newsletter. I’ve gone back to the drawing board about 3 different times trying to make some semblance of a plan, but I kept falling short.
I also almost just dropped the newsletter entirely about 5 different times, but something kept bringing me back to trying to work this thing out…

…I think I’ve finally figured it out!

In the beginning I had the goal to post every week alongside podcast episodes of the Home Studio Hangout Podcast as well as weekly Youtube Videos on my channel, but obviously that was too big of an ask to do while also having a family, building a music production career, AND building a second Content Agency business all at the same time.

Needless to say I was asking too much of myself and misusing my energy.

HOWEVER

I really want this newsletter to exist! I have so many thoughts and insights from over the years but they don’t always lend themselves to the algorithms of the internet, and I really think it’s important to have a place to discuss things that aren’t necessarily the “sexy” topics online but are honestly some of the most important things online.
Things like:

So instead of stressing myself out or letting this die out…

This Newsletter [for now] will become a Monthly digest of thoughts, insights, and things I put out on a regular basis (and probably some extra thoughts on the content I make that won’t make it into the final edits of the published videos/audio!)

This is probably the best thing I can handle time/energy-wise, but it also gives me a place to do the thing I believe this newsletter needs to exist for!

This will come out at least at the beginning of every month and do a digest of the previous months content, thoughts, books, and other random things that will keep true to building out a true Music Makers Handbook!
